Whether you've got a clear idea or just a sketch in your head, I can engrave a wide range of materials and custom pieces. Everything is done in the shop here in Chapin, SC—no outsourcing, no shortcuts.

Materials That Take an Engrave Well

Here are some materials that work best for clean, crisp results.

Wood

Walnut, oak, maple, cherry, cedar, and more. Engraving can be light, darkened, or filled depending on the look you want.

Glass

Frosted-style engraving—great for barware and gifts.

Leather

Full-grain leather engraves beautifully. Works well for patches, belts, journals, and custom accents.

Acrylic

Sharp, modern edges. Great for logos, awards, signage, and display pieces.

Metal

Powder-coated bottles, flasks, and similar items engrave cleanly. Raw steel/aluminum have limitations—we'll talk it through.

How It Works

Steps:

I confirm the details.

Material, size, engraving (depth/look), and timeline.

I get to work.

Clean engraving, finished edges, and a piece built with care.

Pickup or shipping.

Local to Chapin? You can swing by. Otherwise, I ship anywhere in the U.S.

Straightforward Pricing

Pricing depends on size, material, engraving complexity, and whether I'm engraving something you bring in, something we order, or something I build here. No surprises—I'll give you a clear quote before I start.

  • You Provide the Item

    If you're providing the tumbler, plaque, or piece, you can either drop it off locally or ship it to the shop.

    • Powder-coated Tumbler (simple logo): $15–$25

      • Clean artwork, single location, ready to engrave.

    • More detailed artwork: +$10–$15

      • If your logo needs cleanup or rebuilding so it engraves sharp, I'll walk you through it first.

    Shipping Note:
    You're responsible for shipping the item to me. Return shipping is added to the final total—no markup. I’ll quote it before sending anything back out.

  • Shop-Provided Tumblers

    I stock Polar Camel tumblers and can handle the whole thing for you.

    • Tumbler + simple engraving: Starting at $35

      • Includes the cup and a clean, ready-to-go engraving.

    • Artwork prep (if needed): +$15–$25

      • Some designs need extra work to engrave cleanly—I'll show you what needs doing and why.

    • Most custom tumblers land between $40–$55 total.

    Shipping Note:
    If you're not local to Chapin, I can package and ship your finished tumbler anywhere in the U.S. You'll get a shipping quote before it goes out.

  • Leatherette Coaster Sets (4-Pack)

    A solid gift, engraved clean and consistent.

    • Simple logo: $20
    • Detailed or custom artwork: $25–$30

    Shipping Note:
    Coaster sets ship light and easy—usually very inexpensive to mail. I’ll give you an exact amount before checkout.

Bulk Orders

If you need a batch of the same item—tumblers, coasters, plaques, etc.—I can set consistent per-item pricing once the artwork is finalized.

Bulk doesn't mean a sales gimmick—it just means batching the workflow saves time, and I pass that efficiency along.
